Mixed Feelings is a group exhibition that offers a glimpse into the new gallery’s ethos. There is a focus on work that demonstrates the capacity of art to evoke, suggest, and surprise. The hand of the artist is emphasized, surfaces handled with a variety of distinct and inventive approaches. The voices in the exhibition are distinct and distinctly human, complicated in both imagery and material. This is work selected for its ability to generate emotion, ideas, and a sense of reflection or connection. The exhibiton presents a fractured reality, slipping in and out of a hypercolored daydream. Oscilating between representation and abstraction, there is both the presence of explicitly communicated moments or ideas, and the space to sit within them.

Opening Event: September 19, 2025 6:00-9:00
